Partially funded training to deliver socially inclusive yoga & wellbeing sessions
Through partial funding, wee are training practitioners to deliver free inclusive yoga and wellbeing sessions to children and teens across Norfolk. By working directly with schools, educators, and community settings, we hope to reach those who may be at risk of social isolation, mental health challenges, or limited access to support. Each SunFyr Wellbeing training is a three-day, fully funded programme delivered through the ZenKids and ZenTeens frameworks. Our goal is to build a network of community-based practitioners offering accessible wellbeing tools where they’re most needed. Each SunFyr Wellbeing programme is part of a 3 day wellbeing project and delivered via the ZenKids and ZenTeens programme, funded by the National Lottery Community fund. Join us in making positive change today.
Freedom Wellbeing Project is committed to widening access to wellbeing education within schools and communities. Through community fundraising, sponsorship, and grant funding we may be able to offer match-funded or subsidised training places. This can reduce costs to individuals, organisations and schools by up to 50%. For example: Freedom Wellbeing Project contributes 50% the individual, organisation or school funding contributes 50%.

ZenTeen✦Yoga & Mindfulness Training
Training dates: first intake - 21st, 22nd, 23rd October 2026 at SunFyr Barns in Norfolk.
Partially funded training to share the transformative power of yoga and wellbeing with teenagers (Key Stage 3) in your school or community. In recent years, rates of anxiety, depression, and emotional distress among teens have risen dramatically, further intensified by social pressures, academic demands, and the lasting impact of the pandemic. Yoga offers a proven pathway to support self-regulation, confidence, and emotional resilience in young people. Now more than ever, we need to bring these tools directly to the spaces where teens learn and grow. Train with us and be part of that change.
ZenKids✦Yoga & Mindfulness Training

Partially funded training to share the transformative power of yoga and wellbeing with children (key stage 1 and 2) in your school or community. In the last three years, the likelihood of young people having a mental health problem has increased by 50%, a problem exacerbated as a result of the pandemic. However, yoga has a positive effect on stress, physical and mental wellbeing for children; it is now more important than ever to put yoga in action to strengthen the wellbeing of the next generation. Train with us and make change today.

You will be trained through match funding in either ZenKids Yoga & Mindfulness Training, (primary school) ZenTeens Yoga & Mindfulness Training, (secondary school) or Yoga & Mindfulness Training For Neurodivergent Children and Young People. These trainings usually cost £595 per certification but due to partial funding, Freedom Wellbeing CIC will cover half the cost - the individual will only pay £297.50. At the end of the training each practitioner will be a certified 'Children’s Yoga Teacher' in the chosen discipline. You will need to obtain your own insurance - we will advise on this during the training. To be certified the trainee needs to attend the 3 day in person training in Norfolk. They also need to compete five short essays, around 600-1000 words each, on aspects of the training (they will be fully supported on this). In total the training, including contact training and the essays, will take 45 hours.

As part of your commitment to the programme, you will offer free yoga classes to children or teens in your local community after completing your training.
These sessions must be delivered at no cost to participants and should be accessible to those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience yoga and wellbeing. You are responsible for setting up and delivering these sessions in a local setting - such as a school, youth group, or community hub - ensuring that this training leads to real, meaningful impact for young people in your area.

The Training takes place at SunFyr Barns near Norwich.
After completing your training, you’ll begin offering free yoga classes for children or teens in your local community. How often and how long you continue is up to you, but the intention is that these sessions are consistent, accessible, and rooted in care.
We’ve found that adding something as simple as a biscuit and a drink after class can be a beautiful way to build community connection. Whether you're in a school hall, a youth centre or a forest clearing, we encourage you to create space for conversation and kindness, because community is at the heart of everything we do.
